Jonah meyer

Jonah Meyer is a poet, writer, and copyeditor based in North Carolina. Having earned a Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology and Masters in Library & Information Systems, his poetry and creative nonfiction has appeared in more than fifty publications, both online and in print. When not poeming, Jonah plays guitar and piano, shoots street photography, and studies neuroscience and Buddhist philosophy. He serves as Poetry Editor for Mud Season Review and Random Sample Review, Copy Editor with Under The Gum Tree, Staff Writer for The US Review of Books, and poetry reader with Okay Donkey Magazine.

Laurie Filipelli is the author of two poetry books: Elseplace (Brooklyn Arts Press, 2013) and the 2019 Writers’ League of Texas Discovery Prize winner, Girl Paper Stone (Black Lawrence Press, 2018).  She lives in Austin where she coaches, edits, and blogs as Mighty Writing.
