Press Pause is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a big vision and big goals that include growing our press online and in print, building a writers and artists retreat and workshop center on Flying Fox Farm in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and some other major (and majorly fun) things we aren’t ready to announce yet.

In short, there’s a lot of fun stuff to do.

We offer self-designed for-credit internships per your institution’s policy and process. We will work with you to design your dream publishing internship and work with your institution to dot the i’s and cross the t’s so you can receive credit for your work with us.

We would also consider self-designed volunteer internships if interested and willing to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week to the work. Eventually, we will offer paid internships, whenever we get to the point where we can.
